Yoga Workshop – Sleep Deeply

How can yoga practice affect your sleep?

People often say they have the best night’s sleep after a yoga class.

In this workshop, we will explore practices that can help you to sleep deeply.

  • Understand sleep patterns.
  • Learn practises to help you relax before bed.
  • Explore what to do if you wake in the night.
  • Calm your nervous system with your breath.
  • Learn how your lifestyle affects your sleep.

Eastern Philosophy and Western Psychology

The theory covered in the workshop will be based on yoga philosophy and Western psychology.

  You will be given tips and techniques to help you consider what contributes to deep sleep.   There will be opportunities to discuss the concepts Beth introduces and how they relate to our everyday lives.

Workshop Timings

The 2-hour morning session will be broken down into two theory/discussion session each about 25 minutes long plus questions.  One yoga practice session about 40 minutes long.  There will be time to reflect on the content, ask questions and make observations.
