FAQ

What is involved in a session?

We work with slow movements taking our body into different postures.  We move in and out of the posture with our breath.  To begin with, we rarely hold a position and you'll learn how to adapt the posture so you get the most out of your practice.

What should I bring?

All you need is a yoga mat to begin with, in the future you may want to buy other equipment but to start off you can use items round the home like cushions or chairs as props.

How long are yoga classes?

There are a variety of times for sessions ranging from free 20-minute recorded taster session to 3 hour workshops and weekend retreats. The average yoga class is between 60 - 75 minutes long.

How do I book?

You can book any of the sessions online or if you prefer to contact Beth to chat about options you can book over the phone or via email.  If a course is full contact Beth to ask to be added to a waiting list.

What yoga will I learn?

You will learn to adapt yoga to you rather than struggle to attain a pose outside of your reach. We'll teach you how minor adjustments can make a big difference to the way your practice feels.  We work with a small number of postures with slight variations so you can learn the foundations before tackling more advanced poses.

What should I wear?

You don’t need any particular yoga clothes; any comfortable loose trousers and t-shirt are fine. Having an optional top layer can be handy too.
